HOUSTON - Richard Powers, the FBI's special agent in charge of the Houston office, summed it up like this:
"This is the first time that I'm aware of that this many agencies commit to this kind of initiative have come together."
That initiative, which includes 13 billboards touting a new website, is the area's latest crime busting tool, and the message is clear.
"This website shines the light of day on those thugs," Harris County District Attorney Patricia Lykos said.
"Those thugs" are local gang members and Stophoustongangs.org is a joint effort between local, state and federal lawmakers.
